iOS APP DEVELOPER

Creative Post is currently seeking a full time iOS App Developer to work in house as a part of a multi-disciplinary team developing a custom iOS application.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating an intuitive, user friendly interface;
  • Demonstrating excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Writing well structured and efficient code;
  • Preparation of packages for deployment;
  • Documentation of code following client standards and using tools/templates;
  • Writing advanced queries, tuning and optimization of existing queries.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following set of experience and skills:

  • Work experience with Objective C, iOS SDK, XCode, Interface Builder
  • Ability to understand requirements and translate them into application development/​implementation
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Enthusiastic with excellent organizational skills
  • Web Services, XML
  • SQL report services
  • Flow Player and JW Player integration with different streaming services

The following skills are considered assets:

  • Experience with Java frameworks, JavaScript, jQuery;
  • My SQL – advanced query writing, tuning/optimization of queries;
  • Understanding of video and audio post production workflows
  • Work experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET, .NET 4.0
